Cabin design and comforts

With 57 inches in height, 58 inches in width, and 15 feet, 9 inches in length including the cockpit, the M2 cabin interior is designed to maximize headroom for every traveler.

The M2 cabin is equipped with indirect overhead LED lighting, as well as LED reading lights above each passenger seat. Each seat is also equipped with adjustable air vents for comfort.

The headliner and valance design give passengers ample seated headroom while eight large windows heighten the sense of spaciousness.

Six distinctive color selections are available for the interior furnishings as part of the base price of the aircraft: Pearl, Raffia, Mink, Citrus, Frost, and Carbon. Each interior design selection offers a complementary blend of the finest fabrics, leathers, tailored carpet, and high-durability painted coatings.

power and storage

The cabin is equipped with two 110-volt AC outlets with a 5-amp maximum per outlet.

Two large, separate unpressurized baggage areas provide a generous total of 45.6 cubic feet (1.29 m3) of space and can accommodate up to 725 pounds (329 kg).

On the left of the cabin is a belted flushing toilet and a center-aft coat rod.

In-cabin technology and controls

An optional upgrade to the M2 is ClairityTM, our intelligent cabin technology developed specifically for the Citation line.

Large seats embrace passengers in a variety of positions designed for comfort in any setting. Intuitive seat controls allow passengers to adjust seating position to their liking. Armrests stow neatly out of the way when not in use.

Avionics
Control at your fingertips

Precision at your command
Make every decision with timely, precise information delivered by Cessna’s proprietary Intrinzic™ Flight Deck. Powered by Garmin G3000 avionics, this user-friendly touch-screen system has everything a pilot needs for safe and efficient aircraft operation. Get more information with the high-resolution multifunction display featuring split-screen capability. Get a total, virtual reality view of runways, terrain, traffic, and obstacles with Garmin Synthetic Vision Technology (SVT™) presented on the primary flight displays. Get consistent and highly intuitive control over your aircraft with smartphone-like icons and dynamic scrolling menus on each of the two touch-screen control panels.

Enhanced safety and performance

The M2 is equipped with a fully digital, dual-channel autopilot system (AP) equipped with many features for added safety, redundancy, and reliability. Integrating data from the avionics system, the AP is built to inspire confidence while ensuring optimum smoothness and comfort.
The system is powered by the Garmin GFC 700 scalable architecture and uses prestored airspeed-limit data along with autopilot gains that are scheduled to optimize performance to offer excellent stability and control. The AP maximizes aircraft performance with precise lateral and vertical navigation guidance for all phases of flight. It can maintain attitude, altitude, airspeed, vertical speed, and heading, in addition to flying VNAV descent profiles, automated Takeoff/Go-Around procedures, and more.
The M2’s AP system is simple and straightforward to operate yet sophisticated and state-of-the-art, which makes flying the M2 easier, safer, more consistent, and more enjoyable.

Maintenance diagnostics

The M2’s G3000 avionics system can record specific maintenance diagnostic information. This key data can be reviewed on the MFD while the aircraft is grounded and downloaded for review even when you’re away from the aircraft. This capability integrates directly with the Cessna Service and Support network via the Cessna Aircraft Recording System (AReS).
With this system, the M2 incorporates full-time data storage. The AReS records useful data during the previous 100 flight hours in nonvolatile memory. That data can then be used for advanced troubleshooting and analysis by systems specialists from the Cessna Service and Support network.
