Animal-inspired, beautifully rendered - Get the light, agile aircraft with a heavy jet soul. The speed- and range-inspired performance of the Mustang will tackle the sky like only a jet can while delivering the efficiency of a lighter aircraft. The Mustang’s epic aerodynamic design and advanced technology make for exceptional short-field performance with the ability to climb 41,000 feet in 27 minutes, fly at speeds up to 400 mph, and yield a full-fuel range of 1,150 nautical miles.

Interior
Micro luxury with maximum style
The cozy cabin interior of the Mustang offers the finest
finishes and highest-quality materials for the top-rate luxury expected
of a business jet. The Mustang’s cabin quarters showcase six large oval
windows providing spectacular views and abundant natural light.
Interior elegance
The Citation Mustang interior offers the highest quality materials and first class comforts.
Cabin design and furnishings
Four club seats include adjustable headrests and foldable
armrests. Two rear-facing seats may be reclined 25 degrees for optimal
comfort. Two additional forward-facing seats are separated by a center
console that features dual cup holders as well as a storage compartment
and drawer. Left and right stowable monoleaf executive tables are
featured in the side ledges between the seats.
Six elliptical
windows flood the cabin with natural light. Each window is tinted and
includes a pleated manual window shade. Two window plies, one tinted
frost pane per window, and bagged insulation in the walls contribute to a
quiet, comfortable cabin environment, even at high speeds.
Three
distinctive color selections are available for the interior
furnishings: Smoky Quartz, Black Pearl, and Silhouette. Each interior
design selection offers a complementary blend of the finest fabrics,
leathers, tailored carpet, and high-durability painted coatings.
Cabin environment
No other lightweight jet is as generous with cabin size. At 9’ 9”
in length and a cabin height of 54”, the Mustang’s four-passenger club
seating allows passengers room to stretch out and enjoy the ride.
Adjustable
air vents and fixed-position halogen reading lights are conveniently
installed above each seat. Separate, fixed-position lights illuminate
both stowable tables. A light over the lavatory and main cabin door is
controlled by a switch on the left side cabinet, just forward of the
entry door.
The Mustang’s multizone climate control allows the
pilot to adjust cockpit and cabin settings separately for optimal crew
and passenger comfort. The Mustang’s digital pressurization system
delivers the feel of sea-level altitude even at 21,280 feet.
In-cabin storage and power
Storage cabinets are located on both sides of the forward cabin,
directly behind the cockpit. In-flight refreshments can be stored along
with ice and cups in the right side cabinet. The left side cabinet is a
generous storage cabinet for carry-ons and miscellaneous items.
A
single 12-volt DC outlet (aviation style) is mounted in the lower
section of the right side cabinet for cockpit or cabin use. A 12-volt DC
outlet is also provided on the face of the club seat console.
Across
from the main cabin door on the right side is a side-facing toilet with
a removable curtain included for privacy. A net is also provided to
secure baggage stored on top of the lid.
Avionics
Uplifting technology for advanced awareness
Avionics that take you Higher
The Mustang’s front office with Garmin G1000 integrated avionics
delivers at-a-glance awareness that is comprehensive and intuitive. The
three-screen Garmin G1000 avionics suite significantly decreases pilot
workload and stress while consolidating all primary flight, navigation,
engine, and sensor data onto large, easy-to-scan flat-panel displays.
This innovative flight deck is standard on our single engine aircraft as
well as all Caravan models, which keeps the learning curve low and the
transition smooth for all Cessna pilots.
A pilot’s best friend
The Garmin Flight Management System (FMS) is a robust navigation
solution for en-route, terminal, and WAAS precision approach. Pilots are
equipped with moving map functions including range and pan, flight
planning, and automatic reversion via GPS sensors. The FMS will organize
flight plans to be readily accessible and
displayed via the moving map. Plain-language identifiers and airport
communication and navigation frequency lookup features are also
included. Final-approach
fixes for both lateral and vertical modes can be displayed and coupled
to the automatic flight control system (AFCS). Pilots have the option of
overlaying present
position references with geopolitical and airspace boundaries on any map
format. Precision guidance functionality meets the operational
requirements of
oceanic/remote, NAT MNPS, RNP10, and RNP5/BRNAV.
Know what’s out there
Clear knowledge of weather conditions ahead of the aircraft is
critical to any pilot. The Mustang’s weather-avoidance radar system
enhances situational awareness with accurate information to help pilots
provide the safest and most comfortable ride for passengers.
The Mustang’s standard avionics suite includes a four-color weather
detection sensor with an integrated receiver and transmitter. Powered by
the Garmin GWX 68 digital weather-avoidance radar, this technology is
controlled through and displayed on the multifunction display. Notable
features of the radar include 6,500 watts of nominal transmitter power, a
90-degree scan angle, ±15 degrees tilt, a maximum range of 320 nm, and a
minimum range of 2.5 nm.
Performance data is based on the standard Mustang configuration,
operating in International Standard Atmosphere (ISA) conditions with
zero wind. Takeoff and landing field lengths are based on a level, hard
surface and dry runway.
Actual performance will vary with factors such
as environmental conditions, aircraft configuration and operational/ATC
procedures.
